SoCal STOL is a Competition that pits pilot skill against others in an effort to score the shortest takeoff and landing score.
Each competitor has 3 takeoffs and 3 landings to score the lowest (combined) score. Landing before the Start Finish Line will result in a DQ.
Each competition is split up by class of airplane.

Fly with the Winners
McFarlane will be awarding a total purse of $2000 cash at each National STOL event listed below, to be split between 1st place winners wearing an MT Propeller!
No Entry Fee.
Qualifying Regulations:
- Pilot must have an MT Composite Propeller on their competition aircraft at the time of competition
- Place our custom, limited edition decals on your plane (one on each side, forward of the doors)
- Decals can be obtained at no charge by contacting one of our STOL Coordinators Paul Theis or Jacqueline Finney
- Must have a minimum of 4 participants in your class to qualify
- Compete and win 1st place in any of the National STOL sanctioned events
- Pilot must provide a signed release for marketing materials and participate in a photo shoot with the aircraft showing their MT Prop
- Photographs and bios will be used for marketing materials only
