Note: Avglas repair kits are only applicable to aircraft equipped with the specified Continental airbox.

 

Installation:
The butterfly (not included in the kit) must be brazed or tack welded to the shaft during installation, and the bearing housings must be brazed, tack welded or flush riveted to the carburetor heat box. Avoid applying excessive heat during brazing or tack welding or the hardened stainless steel bearing may be damaged.
