Steel Cabin Door Hinge Half
FAA-PMA Direct Replacement for 0511106-15 on Cessna 170, 170A, 170B Aircraft
Upper right forward, drilled, and primed hinge half, uses 7205-1.63D safety pins

Why is ours better? Our welded steel hinges incorporate design improvements for increased strength and corrosion resistance. To provide you with the best fit, our hinges are available drilled or undrilled. All pre-drilled hinges are also prime painted. Note: hinge halves with an "S" suffix are undrilled and not primed.
Find the right part number: undrilled hinge part numbers carry an "S" suffix. Example: P/N MC0511237-1 is pre-drilled, versus P/N MC0511237-1S is the undrilled version of the same hinge.

Maintenance tip about door seals: Cessna doors put tremendous leverage on the forward door seals. Door hinges and hinge pins can be easily overstressed and fail if incorrect door seals are installed. Always use approved door seals designed for your aircraft.
Maintenance tip for installation: temporarily attach the replacement hinges to the door using temporary fasteners, install the door and hinge pins, and verify door alignment with the door opening. The leading edge of the door should sit approximately flush with the adjacent door post skin. Minor bends can be made to the upper hinges to perfect the door fit. Reference the ICA.
