Skybolt grommets are swaged or crimped into a panel's mounting hole to provide a durable, wear-resistant seat for the fastener stud. They protect the surrounding panel material from wear during repeated fastener cycling and are available in multiple diameters and grip depths to match the corresponding stud and receptacle.
