E-Magneto Plug Wire Harness

E-MAG Aircraft Ignition Harnesses

E-MAG low-noise, distributed-inductance plug wire harnesses are engineered specifically for use with E-MAG electronic ignition systems. These harnesses replace the traditional shielded aircraft ignition harness and are used with automotive-style spark plugs and E-MAG adapters. The custom wire construction uses a spiral-wound conductor around a Kevlar core for durability and long service life, with no shielding required. E-MAG's lead design produces no measurable radio noise when properly installed.

Features:

• Custom distributed-inductance, low-noise 8mm plug wire
• 90-degree or straight plug boot options to suit your engine configuration
• Spring-steel detent terminals snap-lock to coil towers and spark plug caps
• Nominal resistance: ~40 ohms/ft (newer "F40" wire) or ~180 ohms/ft (older wire)
• Annual ohm-check recommended; resistance check confirms conductor integrity

• EMA75001: Standard 4-cylinder harness
• EMB75050: 6-cylinder harness configured for IO-540 Thunderbolt engines
• EMB75030: 6-cylinder harness with straight plug boots
• EMB75020: 6-cylinder harness with 90-degree plug boots

Do NOT bundle plug leads together. Inductive coupling can cause interference. Keep leads separated. Leads should be kept in good condition; plug "clicking" over the radio is a reliable indicator of a loose or worn connection.
