Rib Bracing Tape
Superflite Inter-rib Bracing Cord
Flat, non-sticky back tape intended for steadying ribs prior to attaching fabric. The twill tape is used to weave in between the ribs (in an X configuration) to help keep flimsy ribs straight while covering and shrinking the fabric. Anti-chafe sticky-back reinforcement tape also available.
Use Superflite rib bracing tape (SF-TWILL) and anti-chafe tape (SF-REINFTAPE) only. Tapes such as paper masking tape, duct tape, and aluminum-faced tape will cause problems such as mold, corrosion, and it could have bond failure due to heat.
Each roll is 36 yards. Average size wings require two rolls.
