A compact and lightweight assembly that hydraulically dampens oscillations in the tailwheel to eliminate tailwheel shimmy and stabilize your tailwheel. The tailwheel shimmy dampener is designed to compensate for improper tailwheel caster angle, reduce internal tailwheel assembly friction, and poor tail wheel maintenance.

Other Considerations:
- Not compatible with the T3 Tailwheel Suspension
- A long pawl (ABI3219-02) assembly is REQUIRED.
- Installation of the tailwheel shimmy dampener on Cessna 170 aircraft with 3200 Series tailwheel assemblies requires and aircraft-specific leaf spring adapter plate.
