FAA-STC SA02582AK Replacement Master Brake Cylinder for Piper

The AF51695K brake master cylinders are FAA STC-approved (SA02582AK) replacements for the Scott 1248H (LH) and 1260H (RH) master cylinders. Featuring a smaller 13/16" diameter piston, generating higher hydraulic pressure with less foot-pedal effort for a more controlled, progressive brake feel.

The vented design eliminates the need to repeatedly top off brake fluid as linings wear, which is a common maintenance annoyance, and a factor in past brake fluid-related incidents.

Superior Braking Power

These brakes feature the smallest diameter piston available on the market, measuring 13/16 inches. In contrast to the standard 1-inch diameter piston used by all other brakes on the market, this design enables them to generate higher hydraulic pressure while requiring less force on the foot pedal.

Progressive Brake Control

The smaller diameter piston creates additional pedal travel, giving the brakes a progressive feel and providing more brake control with less force required.

Lightweight Brake System
