Piper Wing Spar Access Doubler
FAA-PMA Approved for Piper Aircraft
This structural doubler is included in Piper access hole kit P/N HA765-106V, which provides reinforced access openings in the lower wing skin for inspection of the inboard main wing spars, required to be inspected in accordance with AD 2020-24-05.
Installed per Piper service bulletin SB1304A, the doubler reinforces the access hole cutout area in the left-hand and right-hand wings, maintaining structural integrity while allowing direct visual inspection of the main wing spar for corrosion. These inspections are required for continued airworthiness under FAA AD 2020-24-05.
