Piper Wing Spar Access Cover
FAA-PMA Approved for Piper Aircraft
The access cover is included in Piper service kit HA765-106V, which provides reinforced access openings in the lower wing skin for inspection of the inboard main wing spars, required to be inspected in accordance with AD 2020-24-05.
When installed in accordance with Piper service bulletin SB1304A, the cover provides a removable, sealed closure over the inboard main wing spar inspection opening, allowing repeat access for the recurring corrosion inspections mandated by FAA AD 2020-24-05. The cover enables routine compliance inspections of the LH and RH wing spars without repeated skin removal, supporting continued airworthiness and ease of maintenance.
