Our landing gear beef-up kit is an FAA-approved modification (STC # SA2918NM), originally from P. Ponk Aviation. This beef-up kit reinforces the gearbox to handle side-load stress during hard landings or ground-loops. It greatly reduces the risk of gear failure and costly structural damage, providing stronger, more reliable performance where the original design is most vulnerable.

Re-engineered outboard landing gear brackets and inboard angle brackets for superior strength and corrosion resistance compared to the original Cessna parts. These FAA-approved modifications (STC # SA4170NM) reinforce the main gear box structure at the connection of the landing gear to the body of the aircraft for greater strength and durability in rugged operations. Each component is individually milled from high-strength cold-rolled aluminum for precise fit and maximum durability.
