AeroForce V-Band Clamp

Replacement for Many Continental and Lycoming Turbo Engines
FAA-PMA approval pending. AD 2023-09-09 placed a 500-hour life limit and repetitive inspection requirements on spot-welded turbo v-band clamps. Traditional clamps suffer from spot weld cracks (primary FAA AD failure mode), rivet fatigue, corrosion, and heat fatigue in high-temp exhaust environments. AeroForce v-band clamps provide a tight, continuous seal at the exhaust-to-turbo flange and are not subject to this AD, eliminating the life-limit and inspection burden on affected aircraft.

Design has been proven through 400+ hours of engine and OEM validation testing, plus in-flight trials. The clamps use the same installation process as current clamps, with 50-hour torque check, followed by inspections aligned to engine TBO.
