9017176 Pilot Accessible Button for MD835-1 Emergency Battery Power Supply
The self-test switch is a pilot-accessible button that allows the pilot to verify the emergency battery is healthy and functional without failing the main power. When pressed, it commands the TS835 to briefly disconnect from main power and run on its internal battery alone, confirming the unit will do its job in a real emergency.
