FAA-PMA Approved Airframes Alaska Wheel and Brake Kits

 

After mastering the bush tire, in 2013 Airframe's Alaskan Bushwheels turned to improving the standard Cleveland wheel and brake design. The FAA-PMA result of that design process is the line of ABI wheel and brake kits. Due to the material improvement of being made with aluminum versus magnesium, ABI wheel and brake kits improve corrosion resistance and part longevity particularly in wet or salty enviroments. ABI kits contain all components required to replace the existing wheels and brakes for one aircraft.

  1. Must use ABI-1010 wheel with any FAA TSO-C62 revision approved 29x11-10, 4 ply tube type tire, or any FAA TSO-C62 revision approved 8.50-10, 6 ply tube type tire. Tire must be rated at, or above, the weight and speed rating of the aircraft.
