• Are both rear and bottom power input options available?

  Yes. Every TA202 configuration is available with either rear or bottom power input, providing flexibility for varied installation environments including in-seat tracks, panel cutouts, and cabin wall mounts.

• Can both ports charge at full power simultaneously?

  Yes. The TA202 is engineered to deliver 15W / 3A to each port at the same time with no reduction in output — whether one or two devices are connected

• How does the TA202 compare to the TA360 Series?

  The TA202 delivers 15W per port via standard USB charging, making it an efficient, cost-effective solution for general device charging. For applications requiring significantly faster charging — such as tablets, laptops, or Starlink® Mini — the TA360 Series MAX Power Charger delivers up to 100W per port using USB Power Delivery (PD) technology and is a direct drop-in replacement for the TA202.

• What aircraft electrical systems is the TA202 compatible with?

  The TA202 accepts 10–32 VDC input, making it one of the most broadly compatible USB chargers in the True Blue Power lineup. It works with a wide range of aircraft electrical systems without requiring any external power conversion hardware.

• What certifications does the TA202 hold?

  The TA202 Series holds FAA TSO C71, EASA ETSO C71, CAAC CTSO C71, and RTCA DO-160G certification, making it suitable for certified aircraft installations in the United States, Europe, and China.

• What is the difference between lighted and non-lighted configurations?

  Lighted configurations include an integrated LED indicator that illuminates to show the port is active and ready to charge. Non-lighted configurations omit the indicator for a cleaner, simpler install where status lighting is not required.

• What mating connector is required?

  The required mating connector kit is MCI P/N 9017960 and is included with the unit.
