E-Magneto (200-6XL) Lycoming 6-Cylinder Engine

EMB08005 Six Cylinder E-MAG
The E-MAG series 200-6XL is the definitive electronic ignition upgrade for 6-cylinder Lycoming-style experimental engines. Designed as a direct magneto replacement, it mounts to the standard accessory case pad and drives from the existing magneto gear. Variable advance timing, controlled by both RPM and manifold pressure, optimizes the firing angle across the full operating envelope for improved efficiency, smoother cruise, and reduced fuel consumption.

A wasted-spark design fires cylinder pairs (Banks A, B, C) in sequence, with each bank's coil driving two plugs simultaneously. The internal brushless alternator keeps the ignition self-powered for added redundancy.
