This dual functioning landing and taxi light provides a tailored lighting experience when operating at night, during the day, and in conditions of reduced visibility. SunSpot Equinox consumes less power, outputs more lumens, and is not affected by vibrations compared to incandescent bulbs. In landing mode, it projects a bright white beam for high-speed take offs and landings to improve visibility on the ground and recognition in the air from up to 30 miles away. While in taxi mode, it produces a wider beam spread for unmatched illumination of the runway/taxiway without impairing the vision of other pilots.
SunSpot 46 Equinox comes standard with integrated pulse (WigWag) functionality and utilities the existing mount and electrical connections, with only a Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) Switch needed for dual modes.
